In line with our project vision of future-oriented, sustainable agriculture that integrates social inclusion, biodiversity and ecological responsibility, the BRIGHT-Futures team will participate in the Festival der Zukünfte in Kempten, Allgäu (9–16 May 2026).
The name already conveys positivity and hope: the Festival der Zukünfte, initiated by the Zukunftsbündnis Allgäu and the Gemeinwohl Gesellschaft e.V., is designed as a platform to connect actors and stimulate engagement for a future-proof economy, resilient food systems, and the sustainable design of living spaces and social interactions. The festival opens on 9 May with a symposium on sustainable agriculture.
Our team will be present with an information booth, “Zukunftsfest am Donnerstag”, on 14 May at the Allgäuhallen (in case of bad weather in the BigBox), alongside numerous other organisations and initiatives, many of them active in the field of food systems.
We look forward to engaging with an interested and committed public and diverse actors – especially as the Allgäu region is one of our core study areas – and we warmly invite interested visitors from all regions to join this inspiring event.
